Bethesda Rehab & Therapy Center

Regaining strength, mobility and life skills after injury or hospitalization requires specialized therapy expertise designed just for seniors. Bethesda's rehabilitation services, currently housed at each skilled nursing residence, include a complete range of therapies for residents and members of the community. Bethesda's Rehabilitation Care team has extensive experience in intensive and long-term care, adult and geriatric health. Each patient's rehabilitation is closely monitored and orchestrated by Bethesda's specialized care team including:

* Physicians on staff
* Speech pathologists
* 24-hour nursing staff
* Pharmacists
* Occupational therapists
* Recreational therapists
* Physical therapists
* Social workers
* Dietitians

Our Transitional Care program (Medicare Part A) provides speech, occupational and physical therapies to help individuals regain their strength and mobility. Program services help patients use rehabilitation as a bridge between their hospital stay and their return home in good health.

Hospitals throughout the St. Louis area refer patients to Bethesda Transitional Care, with several designating us as a "provider of choice."

For more information on Bethesda's Transitional Care, please contact Tom Miskle, Medicare Coordinator, at 314-800-1943.
